PRIVACY POLICY PURSUANT TO ART. 13 of LEGISLATIVE DECREE June 30, 2003 No. 196 (“PRIVACY CODE”)
The website duniaalgeriatelier.com (“Shop”) is owned and operated by Dunia Algeri Atelier S.r.l., 09234100965 with registered office in Via Stendhal 45, 20144 Milan.
In this document and while requesting for consents to the processing of personal data, Dunia Algeri Atelier S.r.l. will be indicated as “DUNIA ALGERI Atelier”, which is the hallmark under which it carries on the business of selling on the Shop.
In order to allow your registration on the Shop, as well as your access to the services provided through the Shop, including the e-commerce service, and the correct implementation of the same, DUNIA ALGERI Atelier, which operates as Data Controller, will process the personal data concerning you, pursuant to the provisions of Legislative Decree no. 30 June 2003, n. 196 (“Privacy Code”).
This information is intended for all those subjects who interact with the web pages of the Shop, and, in particular:
(A) to those who use the Shop without registration;
(B) to those who register on the Shop and enjoy the services provided by the online shop, including the e-commerce.
This information is provided pursuant to art. 13 of the Privacy Code, as well as in accordance with Recommendation no. 2/2001 that the European Authorities for the Protection of Personal Data, under the Group established by art. 29 of the Directive n. 95/46 / EC, adopted on 17th May 2001 to establish minimum requirements for the online collection of personal data.
BROWSING
It is possible to access the Shop without being required to provide any personal data. However, the information systems and the software used to operate the Shop acquire, during the course of their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified individuals, however, the same information, due to its very nature, could enable the identification of the user through processing or association. Included in this category are IP addresses or domain names of the computers operated by the users who access the Shop, the URL addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, etc. These data are only used to gather anonymous statistical information on the usage of the Shop (such as, in particular, the number of visitors) and to check that it is operating correctly and they are deleted immediately after processing. This process does not require the processing of any information that can directly identify individuals.
In consideration of the above, in compliance with the requirements of the Privacy Code, we hereby inform you that DUNIA ALGERI Atelier will process data concerning you under the following conditions.
ART.1 PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING
The processing of personal data is exclusively aimed at achieving the following purposes:
a) to enable the registration on the Shop and for administrative and legal obligations related to the same;
b) in the event that you avail yourself of the e-commerce service provided by DUNIA ALGERI Atelier:
(b1) to enable the proper performance of operations related to the online purchase by DUNIA ALGERI Atelier and, therefore, to enable DUNIA ALGERI Atelier to fulfill the obligations arising from the contractual relationship with you in a proper and timely fashion, as well as for administrative and legal purposes related to the same contractual relationship;
(b2) to enable the direct sale of products or similar services (so-called soft spamming), limited to the e-mail address provided by you in the context of the purchase of a product or service from the Shop, provided that you do not object to such data processing.
c) subject to your consent, to send you information and promotions (including the “newsletter”), discount coupons and special offers, by DUNIA ALGERI Atelier related to products and services of the same or of third parties, as well as for conducting market research also aimed to assess the degree of user satisfaction (customer satisfaction), by means of automated systems, such as e-mail and text messages as well as through telephone and postal service.
d) subject to your consent, to create your commercial profile by survey of your tastes, preferences, life and/or consumption habits, in order both to monitor your satisfaction and ensure better fulfillment of your needs, and for the purpose of sending information and / or advertising by us or by any third party for your specific interests, by means of automated systems, such as e-mail and text messages, as well as through telephone and postal service;
e) for statistical and historical reasons.
ART. 2 PROVISION OF DATA AND CONSEQUENCES FOR FAILURE TO CONSENT TO DATA PROCESSING
The provision of data for the purposes indicated under a) and b1) of Art. 1 above is merely optional. However, since this data processing is necessary to enable the registration to the Shop and, therefore, the provision of the services offered by DUNIA ALGERI Atelier by the Shop, including the e-commerce, if you refuse to provide the abovementioned data, you shall not be able to register with the Shop and avail yourself of the related services. Furthermore, in the event that, once you have registered, you intend to carry out an online purchase, you must provide us with some personal data in addition to those already provided when you registered, including those relating to the delivery address where you wish to deliver the purchased products. The processing of such personal data is necessary in order to be able to make purchases of products through the Shop and failure to provide such data will prevent any online purchase from being completed.
Should you choose a credit card as your payment method, you may be asked for data relating to the credit card that you intend to use. These data will not be processed in any way by us, but only by the provider of the payment service.
With regard to the purposes of the processing referred to in lett. (c) and (d) of Art. 1 above, the consent to the processing of your data is entirely optional. Should you not consent to the processing of data for the aforesaid purposes, there will be no consequences with regard to the possibility of registering with the Shop and/or making online purchases on the Shop.
Failure to consent will only have the following consequences:
i) should you not consent to the processing of data for the purposes referred to in lett. (c) of Art. 1 above, you shall not receive promotional and information material, newsletter and/or information communications and/or discount coupons and/or special offer by DUNIA ALGERI Atelier, relating to its own products and services or those of third parties via e-mail and text messages, telephone and postal service; furthermore, DUNIA ALGERI Atelier will not be able to undertake market research for customer satisfaction purposes;
ii) should you not consent to the processing of data for the purposes referred to in lett. (d) of Art. 1 above, DUNIA ALGERI Atelier shall not develop a profile of your consumption habits, aimed at ensuring a greater satisfaction of your needs and the continuous improvement of the offered services, and shall not send any information and advertising material of your specific interest via e-mail, text messages, telephone and e-mail.
Please consider that your consent to the processing of data for one or more of the above purposes may be revoked at any time, through modification of the consent section of your account called Newsletter or by clicking on the “update subscription preferences” link at the bottom of any communication containing promotional and information material that is sent to you.
Limited to the purposes described in paragraphs b2) (so called soft spamming) and c) of Art. 1 above, you can also withdraw your consent to the processing of data by DUNIA ALGERI Atelier by clicking the “Unsubscribe from this list” link icon at the bottom of any communication containing promotional and information material that is sent to you.
ART. 3. MEANS OF PROCESSING
The processing of your personal data shall be mainly carried out with the aid of electronic or automated means, according to the methods and with the appropriate tools to ensure the security and confidentiality of these data, in compliance with the provisions of the Italian Privacy Code. In particular, all the technical, electronic, organizational, logistical and procedural safety measures shall be taken to ensure the minimum level of data protection stipulated by law, only allowing access to individuals authorized to process data by the Data Controller or the data processors authorized by the Data Controller. The information acquired and the means of processing shall be pertinent and not excessive in relation to the purposes for which they are processed and the type of services provided. The data shall also be managed and protected in environments to which access is constantly supervised.
ART. 4. COMMUNICATION AND DISSEMINATION OF DATA
Your personal data shall be communicated: (i) for the purposes set forth in lett. a) and b) of Art. 1 above, to the employees or collaborators of DUNIA ALGERI Atelier in their capacity as data processors or persons authorized to process data.
Furthermore, your personal data may also be communicated:
(a) to all those parties (including Public Authorities), having access to personal data pursuant to legislative or administrative provisions;
(b) to companies or third parties responsible for the services of printing, packaging, shipping and/or delivery of products purchased through the Shop;
(c) to post offices, couriers or shippers responsible for the delivery of products purchased through the Shop;
(d) to companies, consultants or professionals who may be responsible for installation, maintenance, upgrading and, in general, the management of the hardware and software of DUNIA
ALGERI Atelier or used by DUNIA ALGERI Atelier for the provision of its services;
(e) to companies or Internet providers responsible for sending documentation and/or information material;
(f) to companies responsible for the elaboration and/or sending promotional and information material on behalf of DUNIA ALGERI Atelier;
(g) to all those public and/or private parties, natural and/or legal persons (legal, administrative and tax consultants, judicial offices, Chambers of Commerce, Trade Union Offices, etc.), to whom the communication is necessary or functional for the correct compliance with contractual or legal obligations.
Your personal data shall not be disseminated, other than anonymously and collectively, for statistical or research purposes.
ART. 5. DATA CONTROLLER AND DATA PROCESSOR
The Data Controller is the company Dunia Algeri Atelier S.r.l. with registered offices in via Luigi Majno 28, Milan, registered in the Company Register of Milano, No. REA MI – 2077340, VAT 09234100965.
The updated list of data processors and persons authorized to process data is available at the offices of the data controller.

ART. 6. STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data shall be stored only for the duration necessary in order to guarantee the correct provision of the offered services.
In the event of deletion or disabling due to failure to use your account on the Shop, your data shall be stored for administrative purposes for a period no longer than three months, notwithstanding any specific legal obligations on the storage of accounting documentation or for the purposes of public order. In such cases, the automatic deletion of the data shall be guaranteed also by third parties to whom they may have been communicated.
In any case, it is understood that your personal data shall be stored and processed for the purposes of verifying consumer and marketing behavior for the period of time allowed by law
and by the provisions of the Italian Data Protection Authority, i.e. respectively for 12 or 24 months.
After this period, DUNIA ALGERI Atelier shall ask the user to renew his/her consent to the data processing or shall make such data anonymous and store them exclusively for statistical purposes.
ART. 7. RIGHT TO ACCESS PERSONAL DATA
Pursuant to art. 7 of the Italian Privacy Code, you have the right, inter alia, to:
a) obtain confirmation of the existence or not of your personal data and their communication in an intelligible form;
b) obtain, from the Data Controller:
information on the source of the personal data, on the purposes and means of the processing, on the logic applied in case the data have been processed with the aid of electronic means;
information on the identification details of the Data Controller;
information regarding the parties or the categories of parties to whom the data may be communicated or who may become aware of them in their capacity as a representative appointed in the territory of Italy, as data processors or persons in charge of the processing;
c) obtain:
the updating, rectification or integration of your data;
the deletion, rendering anonymous or blocking of data processed in breach of the law, including those which need to be stored in relation to the purposes for which the data have been collected or subsequently processed;
confirmation of the fact that the operations referred to in the above points have been brought to the attention, also in relation to their content, of those to whom the data have been communicated or disseminated, except in the case where such compliance is impossible or would involve the use of means which are clearly disproportionate to the right protected;
d) object, in whole or in part:
for legitimate reasons, to the processing of your data, even if they are pertinent to the purpose of the collection;
to the processing of your personal data, provided for the purposes of commercial information or sending promotional or direct sales material or for carrying out market research or commercial communication. With such regard, please note that the data subject’s right to object to the purposes set forth by paragraphs b2) and c) of Art. 1 carried out through automated means (e-mails, text messages, etc.) may extends also to traditional means (post service and telephone), without prejudice to the possibility of the data subject to exercise such right partially, e.g. objecting only to the sending of promotional material automated means.
